| Onsoku no Sonic or Speed of Sound Sonic is a formidable ninja operating on a continental scale. He was born and reared in a ninja village, presumably sequestered from the many municipalities dividing the landscape. Sonic states that he is the most powerful ninja to walk the Earth and for all the hubris of this point of view his strength is not easily rivalled by many beings—nevertheless it's overshadowed completely by Saitama's immense power. Sonic is not compelled by heroism and though he had not registered himself with the Heroes Association his capabilities are tantamount to an S-Class hero. His main source of revenue is contract work. He had leased his services as an assassin, saboteur and private bodyguard for figures of wealth and power. He had spent a brief tenure in prison as result of his attempt to duel Saitama, but made an escape shortly after his incarceration. It's likely he is considered a criminal by the Association. His self-seeking personality is predominantly interested in satisfying his own desires. As his name implies, Sonic is capable of moving and attacking at extraordinary speeds undetectable to human sight. He is a cunning and perceptive combatant, and on the surface, conducts himself with judicious professionalism, however his passion is not in accumulating money; he fights to test his techniques against any adversary who might pose a challenge, sometimes subverting the rules of his contracts to facilitate a death match with opponents completely irrelevant to his mission. He has little to no regard for the bystanders caught in the crossfire and pursues his target with an obsessive devotion. His intense blood lust reveals itself alongside a menacing and overjoyed expression. Nonetheless he is aware of his habit and tries to limit its influence over wiser judgement, and the body count. Sonic considers himself a perfectionist when it comes to his work, his cherished principle is to leave no opponent alive once his job is complete. 「 A Onepunch-Man character.
